









DTO - DIGITAL TWIN PLATFORM
GHD Digital Twinning Online (DTO) is a low-cost, high-speed collaboration platform that provides detailed infrastructure asset information in real-time for construction and survey collaboration, inspection, management, and reporting. Working to develop digital twinning metaverse technologies along with R&D for the web-based platform and supporting software/tech - such as proposed integration of IoT data, VR/AR, file/model embedding, 3D model development, interactables, etc. Projects range and vary for clients such as EDF, Tesla, National Rail, Thames Water, and many others.

PROCESSING DATA, 3D MODELLING, AND UI/UX DEVELOPMENT
Occasionally, I would operate onsite for the capture of LiDAR/photogrammetry data before being processed in various tools dependent on the hardware and project - such as Leica Cyclone, Bentley Context Capture, FARO Scene, etc. The produced model would often be enormous and require heavy optimisation, processing, and cleanup of artifacts depending on the requirements of client. This would often be done using Maya and then Blender for polygon mesh optimisation for an efficient and clean workflow.
Finally, the produced model would be hosted and streamed using Cesium over a secure Microsoft Azure platform on which the DTO platform operates to ensure that the detailed and high-poly mesh can be streamed through the web portal quickly and securely.
I also, in my role as a generalist, help to develop, model, and optimise 3D assets for use with the platform's 'sketch' function for realtime site roleplay. Moreover, I develop decks, quickstart guides for users, and aid in the conducting of workshops and UI/UX assessment/QA of the platform.
